German Tcakulov is a distinguished violist with a profound commitment to teaching. In 2022, he was appointed as a professor of viola at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, a position that marks a significant milestone in his pedagogical journey. Until 2023, he has led his own viola class at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. From 2017 to 2022, he held a teaching position at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and served as an assistant to Tabea Zimmermann. Additionally, he imparts his knowledge and expertise at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole/Florence. Tcakulov’s dedication to nurturing the next generations of musicians is evident in his impactful teaching roles across Europe and in his worldwide masterclasses.
